 Westjet Launch "Give Hope, Take Action Campaign

WestJet launched a campaign in support of the Missing Children Society of Canada on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. The month-long awareness campaign called "Give hope. Take action." invited WestJet guests to write a message of hope to families of missing children and make personal pledges to stop child abduction.

WestJet and the Missing Children Society of Canada continue the search for missing children. In 2007 alone, there were over 60,000 reports of missing children in Canada. While most of these cases are quickly resolved, many are not. WestJet helps the Missing Children Society of Canada continue the search for missing children by providing gifts of flight to the charity's investigators who travel all over Canada to provide assistance and support to families of missing children. WestJet also commits other resources and volunteers to the society each year.

The Missing Children Society of Canada provides all of their services free of charge. WestJet is proud to have been a Search Partner with the society since 2004.
