From one European destination, to seven - now that’s expansion. Sunwing is ramping up its Europe program this summer with new flights to London, Paris, Dublin, Porto, Lisbon and Rome, plus Amsterdam, the city that launched Sunwing's Europe service last year. Introductory fares to London and Paris start from $349 plus taxes round trip. To London (Gatwick), Sunwing will offer four weekly flights, and to Paris (Charles de Gaulle) and Amsterdam, two weekly flights each. The four remaining destinations will see weekly service. All flights will operate on Boeing 767s with Sunwing Airlines’ famous "Champagne Service", featuring a choice of hot meals with wine and soft drinks, free headphones and, of course, a "welcome aboard" glass of champagne to start the journey off right. There’s also a 25 kilogram per person free checked baggage allowance (which bumps up to 30 kg for Rome flights, and 50 kg for Lisbon and Porto flights). Sunwing's Europe season runs June 16 through Sept. 12 and the company says it will also make hotels, transfers and car rentals available soon, to complement the flights.
