SUNWING LAUNCHES FOUR MEMORIES HOTELS AND RESORTS IN CUBA

 Blue Diamond Hotels and Resorts, a division of Sunwing Travel Group, is proud to announce the launch of its second brand – Memories Hotels and Resorts. Resorts selected for this brand will be of four or five star quality, with an emphasis on attention to detail, with top class food, entertainment and ambiance - quite simply everything that goes into a memorable vacation. For the more discerning guest, each resort will feature a signature Diamond Club ® offering exclusive and upgraded facilities, amenities and dining for a nominal charge.

This is another major milestone in the development of Sunwing's Hotel Division.  Sunwing listened to what their customers tell them makes their perfect, memorable vacation, and wrapped it all up under this new brand.

Blue Diamond’s first brand – "Royalton", with a passion for delivering guests five star "All-In Luxury" was launched in October 2011, with the new Royalton Panama Luxury Resort.

The first three Memories resorts were opened to guests on December 1st 2011. All three resorts were constructed recently and are situated on picture postcard perfect white sand beaches across the Cuban Cayos.

• The 328 room Memories Caribe Beach Resort, is situated on Cayo Coco, offering four star accommodation and a selection of four restaurants and five bars.

• The brand-new five-star Memories Azul Beach Resort with 720 rooms, is the eastern-most resort on the island of Cayo Santa Maria, with many of its rooms and suites offering breathtaking views over the turquoise ocean, and an emphasis on superior food quality with seven a la carte and one buffet restaurant.

• The five-star, 666 room Memories Paraiso Beach Resort is also situated in Cayo Santa Maria adjacent to Memories Azul Beach. With access to seven a la carte restaurants included , guests have the opportunity to dine somewhere different each night of the week!

The fourth resort, Memories Flamenco, in Cayo Coco, currently in the final stages of construction, will be a five-star 600 room resort, ready to welcome its first guests in early 2012. Once operational it will bring the total number of rooms under the Memories brand in Cuba to 2,314.
